The UniFi 6 In-Wall (U6-IW) is a versatile Wi-Fi 6 access point designed for wall-mounted installations, making it ideal for hospitality, dormitories, or offices requiring discreet and efficient networking. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with 4x4 MU-MIMO on the 5 GHz band and 2x2 MU-MIMO on 2.4 GHz, delivering an aggregate throughput of up to 5.3 Gbps.
Equipped with a built-in 4-port Gigabit switch, the U6-IW allows seamless wired connectivity for multiple devices. One of its ports supports 802.3af PoE output, enabling the connection and powering of devices like VoIP phones or additional access points.
The U6-IW is powered via PoE or PoE+, simplifying installation by utilizing existing network infrastructure. It integrates seamlessly with the UniFi Network Controller, offering centralized management and monitoring of all network devices.
